Premier's Reading Challenge Assembly This year our assembly was held on Friday, December 5th. We celebrated our best achievement so far with 99% of the students achieving their PRC (Premier's Reading Challenge). 18 students were awarded "Hall of Fame, Reader for Life" certificates. Many of these students were selected to help George the storyteller act out his tale. We also achieved improved scores in the "40 Book Challenge". 4 classes achieved 100%. After the assembly the year 2,3,4,5 and 6 best borrowers and library monitors were invited to the library to listen to Beryl Siemionow from St George's books, talk about new books available for purchasing for 2015. Each student selected a book they thought should be included in our collection. The students enjoyed a pizza lunch to celebrate their achievements for the year.
