The library Christmas tree was decorated with children's literature characters. Students enjoyed searching for their favourite book and at the PRC Assembly they were quizzed to guess the character on the Christmas tree.

Students were selected by their teachers to choose new books for the library collection. Rebecca Bird from Pegi Williams Book Shop came to our school on Friday, December 8th with a wide variety of fiction, picture fiction and non fiction books. Each of the invited students were able to select a book they would like and a book plate will be added to explain who had chosen the book for the APS library. They will also be the first to borrow the new books.
The book buying occurred after the whole school PRC Assembly which celebrated another successful year of reading. |
